Startup Estonia is looking for Russian tech startups aimed to the European market

Russian tech companies are invited to apply to Go Estonia Nomination at GoTech Contest. Partners of the nomination Startup Estonia, KredEx and European Regional Development Fund will support the winning startups in entering the European market.

Startup Estonia is looking for Russian tech startups aimed to the European market

Nomination is focused on Russian tech startups aimed to enter US and European markets through Estonia. Main selection criteria for finalists are the finished product with a customer validation and sales on the Russian market.

Startup Estonia is looking for startups that develop solutions in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, information and communication technologies, financial technologies and SaaS.

10 finalists will be invited to participate in a Pitch Session with Startup Estonia experts at the GoTech Arena forum on October 15, 2019 in Moscow. As a result of the session the winner will be chosen to get the assistance in starting and developing business in Estonia, networking with investors and potential partners, mentoring and information support, as well as round trip funded by Startup Estonia for the team (max 5 people) to come to Estonia for Tallinn Startup Week on November 11-15, 2019.

Our country has excellent infrastructure support and programs aimed at simplifying the process of starting a business. We have been successfully cooperating with GoTech team on startup scouting, and after the last joined event – pitch session in May 2019 in St. Petersburg - we started collaboration with the startups Human+ and Tensy. We are confident that Go Estonia nomination at GoTech contest will help us find promising startups”, - says Marilyn Lukk, Startup Visa project lead at Startup Estonia.

Applications are accepted until October 15 on the website.

The winners of all nominations will be announced during GoTech arena conference in Moscow on October 15. The event will gather 1200 entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of large companies and startups. The ticket sale to the forum is currently open.
