Every year GoTech Arena gathers more and more international participants who come not only as attendees and speakers but also to host their own event as a part of the forum.

7 events with our International Partners at GoTech Arena

It is 10th anniversary of GoTech Arena (ex-Web Ready) this year, and more than 1000 guests from 15 countries will come to share and celebrate this special moment together with us! The main part of the forum will be in English, so there will be an opportunity to learn and make meaningful connections.

Irina Kalashnikova, CEO GoTech Innovation: “One of our biggest aims is to support startups from Russia and Eastern Europe with international market entry, and that is why we run the contest and make GoTech Arena happen. Due to this main aim, we cooperate and collaborate with accelerators, venture funds and startup agencies across Europe and the rest of the world, organizing joint events and inviting them to be a part of GoTech Arena.”

If you are going to be at the forum, do not miss the following events organized by our international partners:

The beginning of the forum is held by Startup Lithuania (9.00-9.45). Be an early bird to learn more about opportunities for tech startups in Lithuania, enjoy your coffee and warm up right before the main part of the event.

Austria & Switzerland

You can continue a conversation with Startup Lithuania and meet two more of our partners from Central Europe at Business Alley (10.00-18.00). To get more information on the benefits of doing business in Austria and Switzerland – come and say “hello” to ABA – Invest in Austria and Swiss Business Hub Russia at their stands.

Discussion about international market entry opportunities is going to happen after lunch on the main stage (14.30-15.00) with support of NRW Invest – Economic Development Agency of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia. Oliver Weinmann (active angel investor and operating director of ruhr:HUB), and Alexey Girin (general partner of Starta Ventures).

The most imposing event in terms of Russian and international venture companies and funds is going to be Deal Room (11.30-13.30, 14.00-16.00) suited for personal meetings and negotiations. 15 Japanese companies are willing to meet with IoT, VR/AR, AI and other startups in Deal Room. The delegacy is brought to the forum by SAMI – a unique platform designed to connect Japanese and Russian IT-companies.

Pitch-session Go Estonia starts at 16.00 on the Pitch Stage – the final round of the nomination for tech companies that want to continue developing their business in the US and Europe with the help of Estonia. 10 startups chosen from 100 applicants will present their projects in front of experts from Startup Estonia and seed fund Superangel.

While some the names of finalists haven’t been revealed yet, others are already known. Helsinki Centre in Saint-Petersburg, NewCo Helsinki и Helsinki Business Hub got through 200 applications of annual Finlanding nomination, met with 10 finalists and will announce the winners during GoTech Award Ceremony (17.00-18.00). The lucky ones will get tickets to the biggest startup-event of Northern Europe – Slush 2018, as well as consulting support to launch their products on the European market.

The end of the forum is going to be celebrated at the already traditional GoTech After-Party (18.00-23.00) in Progress Bar at Digital October. Our international partners are going to be there too! The party is sponsored by Starta Ventures (USA) and the Untitled Ventures.

We are looking forward to seeing you at GoTech Arena – November 20, Digital October, Moscow.
